This is article 15 in a weekly series.I’ve mentioned in the past that the three key components of a good trading system are the entry, the exit, and money management. For the traders that purchased the stock that day, was this a good trade, or a bad trade? For many traders it was a very good trade, but for others it turned out to be a so-so, or possibly a bad trade. Day traders who bought the stock early in the day and sold late in the day near its peak did very well. This profitable day trade was a combination of a good entry signal and successful exit strategy. But for someone who bought near the top, then sold at the end of the day, the trade was a negative one.How did the swing traders do (whose goal it is to hold for a few days to a few weeks)? Again, for the swing traders who bought early on the 13th and sold the next day, they came out of the trade with a good profit, so one would say it was a good trade. (I would speculate that many of these traders were actually day traders who wanted to see is there would be a second day of heavy buying. For other traders, the priced likely hit their stop-loss price as it was declining, so they automatically sold based on their stop-loss sell strategy. In their eyes, this may have been a bad trade, or an OK trade. For any trader who bought on November 13th and sold on January 3rd, this was a very good trade – practically perfect. So - many traders buying on November 13th, with many different outcomes. So what makes a good entry, and a good exit?

There’s no threat of another group doing the same for less money, or better service for the price, or faster service and efficiency in the service – The rich aren’t being hurt, because they still have sufficient funds to seek out a private hospital elsewhere (look at the Canadians that can afford to get medical service in the US).Even the poor don’t necessarily fare well in socialism, even though they’re the group supposedly being aided. Likely, there would be hospitals that found ways to cater to the market of poor people to provide a service that they could afford, which would be more competitive with other similar business ventures, and thus improve in quality.Every consumer benefits from competition, but none benefits from monopoly.

There is one limitation to Chow when compared to Bump is that instead of being able to Chow off anyone else on the table you can only Chow off the player to your left.Back to the table set up!Let’s imagine I was sitting in the West seat and I have this hand.I would ideally like a 9 to finish off that run! Simple!>Jenn’s Note: Place the tile you took perpendicular to the left of the two tiles it goes with and put the set to your right just like you did with bump!

Vary the length of your phrases, 4 bar and 8 bar phrases are fine but you should strive to vary the length of your phrases. Try a 5 bar phrase or a three bar phrase etc. Ideally you should be striving for long phrases but you should try to vary the lengths.2. Vary where you begin your phrases if you always begin your phrase on the downbeat of one you will start to drone. Try starting on the second beat and the next phrase on the upbeat of three for example. If you end one phrase on a long tone try ending the next phrase on a short note. Leave some space between your phrases, without leaving some breathing spaces you will start to drone, deadly, very deadly.

Array Requested items are needed year round so this doesn’t need to be just a Christmas project.Requested items: 1) Wal-mart gift cards (these are especially sought after because the local Wal-Mart sells gas and offers one-stop shopping) 2) Pre-paid calling cards 3) Postage Stamps 4) DVDs (even for kids since families are there) 5) Microwave popcorn 6) Hats 7) Gloves 8) Socks 9) Underwear (all sizes)10) Tennis shoes w/velcro11) Winter coats/jackets12) Weightlifting gloves for wheelchair patients13) Trousers w/snaps, zips along the legs14) Razors (please purchase a decent disposable because the cheap ones are awful on their face and skin - not their request but ours)15) Basic toiletry items (shaving creme, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotions, shampoo) All items should be new, sealed, fresh, and clean.

Thats just silly. With that,in the spirit of negativity that is my blog, I would like to give you my list of things that I dont want for Christmas:I dont want….to hear about how great Sam Keller is before hes ever played a game in front of more than 2 dozen fellow players. Forgive me if Ive heard all this before.I dont want….to CONSTANTLY hear about how the 1995 Huskers were the greatest team of all time. (When they were holding the ball for 45 minutes a game as well.) Would the greatest team of all time need to beat more than 4 ranked teams in a season to say how great they were? Where did the 95 team play Florida?I dont want….to have to deal with the HORRIBLE Big 12 TV contract anymore. Fix it now.I dont want….Missouri fans to bitch about where they get selected in the bowl process. Besides, I hear the donkey shows in Juarez are spectacular.I dont want…to see another one of those stupid Apple Mac commercials.I dont want…to read another Bill Simmons story on the G*d damn Red Sox. Shut the hell up.I dont want…to have UNO hockey fans settle for mediocrity anymore. Very sad indeed.I dont want…to hear Kansas basketball fans talk about how great they are until they win more than one title in the past 60 years that wasnt won at home. Not that I dont enjoy watching high hopes come crashing to earth every spring….its quite enjoyable. Sick of hearing about it year after year.I dont want…to have to sit through another SECOND of Mind of Mencia while I’m waiting for South Park to come on. Is there anybody (other than Larry the Cable Guy) who is more unfunny than Carlos Mencia?I don’t want…to hear about how the bird flu is going to come kill us all.

We wandered around town during the day, and visited a Maori cultural center and nature preserve in the evening.A central element of Maori culture is the Haka, a war dance that prepares the mind and body for battle. Here’s a great Maori warrior chief engaged in a haka:No, really, this is supposed to strike fear into opponents (or, I guess, make them laugh themselves to death, which would also work). The Kiwi is the New Zealand icon.

He’s been eating at Taco Bell a lot.             coli and Taco Bell! Taco Bells in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware were all implicated. The Taco Bells all closed voluntarily and remained closed while both food and employees underwent extensive testing.             Yet, in New Castle County—one of three in the state, the others being Kent and Sussex—there are 14-Taco Bells. This number includes the restaurants that sell only Mexican fare, as well as the combined Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)/Taco Bell units. A local radio talk show here in Delaware did it up big time. One of the hosts said that he would never eat at Taco Bell again. I think a bit of perspective is in order regarding Taco Bell and our chances of contracting E coli by eating in one of their restaurants. For the record, I do not eat Taco Bell food. People, who are able to make this kind of taste/quality comparison, tend to let out one of those big shivering EEEUWs whenever they think about the taste of Taco Bell food. In all, I don’t mind admitting that I’d rather snort Drano and eat nuclear waste than Taco Bell food.             What they don’t say—because they don’t know—is that if the inspection samples are random and truly representative of the food population, a two percent sample size is enough to give about a ± puking sick after eating SkippyChunky-style peanut butter. About six months later, the same thing happened after I ate some lemon meringue pie. It might have been E coli, but regardless, I have not eaten either since. Of course, in the case of the peanut butter, I always fail to mention that I ate the entire jar. Oh yes, I also ate the entire pie, not just one slice. In fact, my mother had warned me that if I ate one more slice of the pie, I was going to explode. Yes, I consumed massive quantities of it, but I was eating peanuts the whole time. So, if you enjoy Taco Bell food, have some. Given similar exposure numbers, a person living in New Castle County, Delaware has a far greater chance of becoming an assault victim in the thriving metropolis of downtown Wilmington, than contracting E coli by eating at Taco Bell.             Not that I think there’s a connection with Taco Bell, but I’ve established a statistical truth of my own.

This is the best offense in the NFL right now, and they are fun to watch.Panthers ( 2.5) over SteelersThis just sorta seems like the way things go for the Panthers. Three straight losses where they have not looked good at all leaving them on the edge of playoff contention, it just makes sense in the NFL today that they should beat a Pittsburgh team that is playing pretty well lately. Just a little too big of a spread for me in a League where a lot of funny things have happened this year.Titans ( 3.5) over JaguarsFor all of the Jags impressive victories, they’ve also lost twice to Houston and once to Tennessee this year. That’s just how the Jags season has gone this year.Texans ( 11) over PatriotsMuch like the Bears and Ravens game, this spread is a little big for me. Especially since New England is coming off of a game in which they lost 21-0.Lions ( 5) over Green BayEven if no one else will say it, I will… Not that they have anywhere better than him right now that should be playing because they definitely don’t, but Favre is a shell of his former self at this point.Broncos (-3) over CardinalsInteresting battle of the rookie QBs, though I think this one is decided by the fact that Denver’s defense is better than the Cardinals defense. It’s almost too predictable.Chiefs ( 8.5) over ChargersAs awesome as the Chargers look at times, they can also be pretty inconsistent.

Brady (D., Pa.).Not voting: Chaka Fattah (D., Pa.).I was unable to find out why Andrews and Brady voted against this bill, unless it was because they objected to tax cuts being passed at a time when government agencies are underfunded and we’re in the middle of fighting a pointless war that is draining this country of our life blood of an entire generation of potential leaders of this country, to say nothing of funds that could be used to try and fix the environment, fund critical research and development for job growth (remember how we used to do that?), repair our infrastructure, promote educational advancement, and follow up on the 9/11 Commission recommendations. A yes vote was to approve the bill.Voting yes: Andrews, Brady, Castle, Dent, Fattah, Fitzpatrick, Gerlach, Holden, LoBiondo, Saxton and Weldon.Voting no: Pitts, Schwartz and Smith. Not voting: Fattah. What an interesting collection of “no” votes here! I went to the sites of all three representatives and could not find any information, and a record of the proceedings on this vote provided no information either. My guess is that Pitts and Smith opposed this even though the outgoing House “leadership” wanted it, and they knew their votes wouldn’t have any effect on the final outcome, and Schwartz would vote no regardless. A yes vote approved the measure.Voting yes: Andrews, Brady, Dent, Fitzpatrick, Gerlach, Holden, LoBiondo, Pitts, Saxton, Schwartz, Smith and Weldon.Voting no: Castle. Not voting: Fattah.(By the way, I guess Chaka Fattah wasn’t available becaue he was busy defending Mumia last week…a bright guy, but God was he dumb on that one). Can’t find any information on why Castle voted no (Google-searching my brains out here and coming up with snake eyes, so to speak), unless it was because he objected to the partisan trick of stopgap funding for just long enough until it became the headache of the Democratic Party when it takes over.Vietnam trade. A yes vote was to confirm Gates.Voting yes: Carper, Lautenberg, Menendez and Specter.Voting no: Santorum. Not voting: Biden.By the way, the other “No” vote here was cast by none other than Repug Jim Bunning of Kentucky (he was probably told by Fox “News” to vote no, since that is apparently the only source he consults, having admitted that he doesn’t read books or newspapers, no doubt adding to his reputation that earned him a note in Time Magazine’s April edition this year as “one of our five worst senators.”)I have issues with Gates to be sure, but I just don’t see how we were going to get anyone else from the ruling cabal who would’ve been any better.FDA confirmation.

Array As a self confessed Lifestyle Guru I have taken it upon myself to help you, the general public in your daily pursuit of happiness, by alerting you to the subtle attacks placed upon your happiness by society every single day. Many things within a supermarket can bring happiness, such as a variety of colourful fruits, freshly baked bread, the latest series of the O.C on DVD or even a special offer that saves you money. But what if this was a scam?Whilst perusing the shelves of my local supermarket just yesterday I came across a great bargain, 3 yoghurts for £1.20. I laughed in his face of course and informed him that his deceit will not bring him happiness in this life or the next.Sometimes, in order to prove a point one must go to extreme lengths, I normally do not condone vandalism, but when the public’s happiness is at stake it is something I can live with. Initially I was to write a message in the car park using a tin of the supermarkets own brand raspberry jam, but there was not enough in the jar for the phrase ‘don’t buy the yoghurts, the deal is a happiness stealer’

Now since being unemployed I have watched many, many episodes of CSI (the original and New York not that awful Miami one that makes me want to randomly hammer the buttons on the remote to get as far away from it’s smug pale imitation glow as possible) and I’m fairly certain there are no scientific tests for such an occurrence, which would mean I would have very little defence if such a case went to trial. My only answer so far has been to strap myself into bed and make sure all the knives in the house are securely locked away, I may be bitter twisted and wish Paul O’Grady dead on a daily basis, but truth be told I’d hate for it to really happen one night when I was asleep….No, if I was going to do it I’d want to be wide awake.- Mr Winston

-ne I am an only child, but I’m glad that my Mom has six brothers and three sisters. While my Mom was sick, and when she passed away, her surviving brothers and sisters (as well as my Dad’s only surviving brother and his family) formed a very supportive cocoon around me, my husband and our children. They know how it is to be surrounded by family and will, therefore, endeavor to keep the same ties in order to provide the same environment for their own children.During the wake, I also met some of my Mom’s first cousins, one grand-aunt and some of my second-cousins.

Now I don’t particularly pay much attention to his bloggings in this regard (mainly because I am not a Roman Catholic) but I have heard that his apologetics are considered rather astute by his denominational compatriots. However, I can also sympathize with your baffled reaction to some of Mr. Shea’s fruitier blog fodder, especially when it ends up sounding like this:…the Church gets stomped in Bethlehem or Iraq, those people are just Catholics or some other form or ancient Christianity and they don’t count because they happen to be in the way of somebody’s eschatological scheme or some plan of the End to Evil types currently setting policy in DC.Of course, zany stuff like this might fly perfectly well on Coast To Coast AM with Art Bell. Being gifted at one thing doesn’t always overflow into something else. This is one of the biggest problems with blogging: A person can earn a reputation for being very good at something, even justly so, whereupon he erroneously assumes that he is therefore entitled to be regarded as an expert in everything else, with license to say pretty much as he pleases and with the expectation that everybody will bow to his authority.

Array Yancey seemingly offered that as a defense of his moralistic abstractions as it would appear to be the origin of his own aversion to professions of clarity or certainty. While applying the unreferenced assessment of Christians as uptight dogooders trying to keep others from having a good time, Mr. Yancey as much as excepted that charge by springing toward a conclusion on that basis. He breifly discussed his new book, Rumors of Another World where he attempts, as he describes, to resurrect the rumor that their is more to life than what we see here in an effort to explore that rumor to find its origin. Would Jesus help his neighbors by spending money, or by maintaining his ascetic lifestyle? Why do we Americans think of ourselves as such generous people when we allocate a smaller percentage of our Gross Domestic Product to foreign aid than does any other industrialized nation? Why do the people who quote statistics about foreign aid fail to note that Americans prefer to give, not through government grants, but through private organizations such as the Red Cross and the Salvation Army?Do Arab terrorists hate the United States and Europe because of our support for Israel, or hate Israel because of its association with the West?Do any of these questions sound family? This year’s festival will include featured readings by bestselling authors, poets and NW writing legends, panels on every conceivable subject, workshops for teachers of writing, dinners with your favorite authors, a free two day book fair with hundreds of exhibitors, two days of children’s readings and activities, food, music, cooking demonstrations and more!Given that the featured author this year is Norman Mailer, and the event originates in Portland, Oregon, one might suspect a political agenda inherent to this year’s event.

Last year the Bloc claimed 48.8% of the vote, the Liberals 33.9%, the Conservatives 8.8% and the NDP 4.6%. I’m breaking the 75 Quebec ridings in to three categories: Bloc Victories from Last Year, Small Liberal Wins and Big Liberal Wins. In both cases, the reason is simple – the Liberal vote is not a pro-Grit vote, but rather an anti-Bloc vote. However, voters who have a long history of supporting the Liberals and are legitimately voting for the Liberals rather than against the BQ are far less likely to abandon the Grits. In reference to the above categories: Bloc wins are all strenghtened as the Liberals lose a great deal of support, Close Liberal victories disappear but ridings which were huge Liberal victories are likely to stay in the Liberal column. In short, predictions that the Liberals would drop to one seat in the province are riduclous. Here’s the rundown of the sixteen ridings to watch: Bourassa: This North Montreal riding has voted Liberal every election since 1968 except for ’88 and ’93 (lost by 53 votes). This is a riding where the Liberals won’t be losing their support to the Bloc, but rather to the Conservatives. The Bloc is not a factor in this riding, and Liberal Frank Scarpaleggia got 64% of the vote and defeated his Conservative opponent by 52%. Conservatives won’t be able to take the seat unless the Liberals lose almost all their support and it goes almost entirely to the Conservatives (ie. The Liberals will lose support here, but it won’t all go to the Conservatives, and there simply won’t be a big enough drop in support for Cotler to lose the seat. Notre Dame-De-Grace-Lachine: The Liberals have held this Montreal area riding since 1962 and Marlene Jennings defeated her Bloc opponent by over 30% last year. The Conservative candidate pulled in only 10% of the vote, so it would take a brutal drop for the Liberals to lose this seat. Pierrefonds-Dollar: The Liberals have lost this seat twice in the last 50 years and Bernard Patry collected 64% of the vote and won by almost 50 points over the Bloc. Liberal David Smith won the race with 38% of the vote, the Bloc pulled in 29% support, the Conservatives 22%, NDP 6% and Greens 5%. Saint-Leonard-Saint-Michel: The Liberals have held this Montreal area riding since 1979 and Massimo Pacetti took 64% of the vote and won by 42% over his Bloc opponent. Bernard Clearly of the Bloc won last year with 38% of the vote, defeating his Conservative opponent by 7% while the Liberals lagged behind with 22%. Richmond Arthabaska: Andre Bellevance took this riding easily for the Bloc last year, collecting 56% of the vote and defeating his Liberal opponent by 28%.

My friend did a list of 100 things about her. People at work think I am obsessively neat and organized, which I am -there.2. Or who think everything should match. I love having a massage. I still think about old loves fondly, and would like to know they are doing well without actually contacting them.19. I love having long hair, especially having D stroke it. I can’t think of a secret I have that no one knows. I love to bellydance, even just around the house.35. I think abortion is better than an abused child.44. I think the gay rights movement is the best test of democracy.45. I think marriage should be abolished as a legal state, replaced with only civil unions. I think one room schoolhouses in storefront buildings, small classes from the neighborhood, each student with a laptop and a national curriculum, two main teachers and circuit teacher and guest speakers, self paced education, would vastly improve our education system. I like guessing what Moby might be thinking. I really want to do more yoga, and I don’t know why it is so hard for me to keep at it. I love a good pen.58. I like the state quarters, especially Michigan, because I am relieved that my old home state didn’t embarrass me by doing it badly. I love when my patient makes me laugh.64. I love Boston.70. I love cobalt blue mugs, but my best mug is red. I do not wear rings, my nails are very short, I do not know how other nurses wear rings and keep long nails without hurting themselves or their patients.82. I love sleeping.85. I wish our picture page, and my essay page were more widely read, but I worry that they might be more widely read, and trouble would follow.89. I think I could still field strip an M16, with some practice, I could still do it blindfolded.93. I fantasize about my essays being published, though I know this is foolish.97.

The natural inclination is to make Reitsma the closer, but Cox is patient and that’s one of his virtues, so we’ll see how this plays out.Lost in Kolb’s shaky pitching is the fact that this team is not scoring runs. (Bizarrely, the Cardinals are last in both categories.) Here are the worst offenders:Raul Mondesi - one BB in 40 ABsPete Orr - one BB in 33 ABsRafael Furcal - two BBs in 53 ABs (YOU’RE A 5′7 LEADOFF HITTER IN A CONTRACT YEAR!)Brian Jordan - two BBs in 42 ABsAdam LaRoche - three walks in 36 ABsEddie Perez - no walks in 18 ABsJulio Franco - no walks in 14 ABsEither this team is going to start showing some plate discipline or opposing pitchers are going to continue to get them out with balls out of the zone.

Global Falsehoods (Section 2) This second section of the series of logs on the globalization of poverty will be in regards to global falsehoods that have accumulated due to false statistics and other different pieces of manipulative information that have been fed to the populace via international corporations and other “free trade” organizations. However, the World Bank statistics would have you believe that the global poverty problem in the world is not as bad as it seems, which then subconsciously makes it less of a problem to all the people of the world who will in turn, turn a blind eye to what the international corporations do in those countries. In the World Bank framework, the “estimation” of poverty indicators has become a numerical exercise, which usefully serves to conceal the globalization of poverty.2 Double Standards The US poverty threshold is much higher than the poverty threshold for the poor in the Third World countries. In fact, with deregulation and “free trade” the cost of living in many Third World cities is now higher than in the United States.3 Concealing Truths As described by Michel Chossudovsky: Their [World Bank] poverty indicators blatantly misrepresent country-level situations, as well as the seriousness of global poverty. They serve the purpose of portraying the poor as a minority group representing some 20 percent of world population.4 The reason for this (the reason stated in the passage above), along with the reasons I have already stated throughout this log, is that by making the global poverty level as small as possible, future poverty trends can then be changed to make it look as if global poverty really is reducing.

I don’t feel any less vital, (except for the ongoing ill-effects of insomnia,) but then I often recall Grandma’s last days in the nursing home when she thought that she was about 33 years old or so. Inside my head I’m still in my twenties, but the extra 20 pounds I carry and the aches and pains I feel do their best to remind me that I’m approaching middle age.As my fortieth birthday approaches, I feel an urgency to mend things in my life. But I’m not sure I’m willing to accept feeling more pain as I strive to feel more joy.I think a physical, or metaphysical approach is a good way to start. If I can feel better physically, I’ll have more strength to deal with the emotional issues.

does anyone really get why its so hard to get a ride to a graveyard at 5:33, i mean its not that hard to get into a car and drive there. i just got a message from my cousin saying ‘did you know every year you pass the anniversary of your death?’ i say why not embrace what you know is going to come.

but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.Mat 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.Mat 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?Mat 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.3.
